It places anecdote over data that can be tested and reproduced, personal metanarratives over skepticism, it makes people want society to adapt to them rather than the other way around. It corrupts academic institutions where academic rigor is overridden by passionate narratives.
I have no idea what people are talking about when they think critical race theory is teaching history. It's teaching propaganda. It also tends to have the effect of redefining racism in a way where racist behavior is acceptable as long as it's towards any member of a group that is perceived to hold power:https://youtu.be/Qw3DjP7HSts
That Antiracist Baby book might not exactly illustrate the potentially negative effects it will have on society. But I quote from White Fragility from DiAngelo (whose book became the source of inspiration for the "Be Less White" campaign from Coca-Cola): >> Rather, I strive to be “less white.” To be less white is to be less racially oppressive. -- White Fragility, Ch.12Anyone who reads the book objectively (and I think I can because I'm not white), can quickly see how pernicious it is with its application of critical race theory. It basically defines whiteness as power and ignorance and places the burden on all white people, regardless of their status, as guilty people in need of repentance. It doesn't even make ethnic distinctions between, say, the Irish who never did so well in the US. It just makes all white people out as guilty and needing to "just shut up and listen".I don't even hear things this bad coming from the KKK these days.

Will watch it.
just like yuri bsemenov told us
slavery and genocide are fundamental parts of humanity, you just have to get over it. its in the past of every country.but that's no reason to divide everyone by teaching them to all hate eachother based on race
Teaching kids America was founded on freedom and democracy. Is racist to all the descendants of those who where enslaved or genocided. SO quit teaching that shit
america was founded on freedom and democracy. its the truth, and its not in any way a problem to those people because all of history is filled with slavery and genocideamerica isn't unusual for its slavery and genocide, its unusual for ending those things
@007kingifrit Your head so far up your ass you can see out your titties. The fact that you just said what you said is the exact reason we need critical race theory
your lack of a response proves me right =)
@007kingifrit No use responding seriously to those under the delusion of white supremacy
@007kingifrit Yet as i said your the reason we need critical race theory
you didn't respond seriously because you are my intellectual inferior, you can't respond to me, so you resorted to petty insults and childish absolutism instead
@007kingifrit And i stand by my statement. Quit being a pussy and admit your a racist
It's a academic study to examine laws and systematic racism in society.
No we shouldn't. First off school is for basic learning, its a stepping stone. Not a place for politics. A place for learning how to be a good worker. If you wanna do law, go to law school.
More like how we can change laws or make laws that prohibit racism, have racial stereotypes affect certain races in a social setting etc.
I don't think school should have politics within it's system at all.
yea you're right to hate it. it teaches white people have original sin and teaches us that all inequality is the fault of racism which is obviously not true
no you're right. its very anti white. its basically communism but with class replaced with race
Lol.. ashamed? I've seen enough comments of you on this site, you are deeply ashamed of your own race. Look in the mirror before you dish out.
I’m black and proud. We need to teach the disgusting history of this country
A proud black man loves his blacks sisters, and doesn't parade non black women that don't prefer black men to being with. Its humiliating and embarrassing.
@big-black-robinson be warned little boy. trying to make people ashamed often backfires and creates pride
Well you're partway right. America was founded on genocide and slavery. But so was large swathes of Africa. But unlike the African slavers, who benefit from millenia of past down generations of slaves, the Americans had the good sense to abolish slavery within the course of several generations. Meanwhile, slavery is still rampant across the African continent, and yet nobody's talking about it because nobody wants to offend anyone of African descent. I'm just saying, if you're gonna attack America for doing what pretty much every nation has done at some point in history, then it's only logically consistent to also turn the pointing finger of blame towards those countries who not only did slavery in the past, but do it to this very day.
Like if I try to form a more honest opinion it won’t ever matter to begin with
