Many of the happiest people I know don't have money.Check out a book called "The Happiness Advantage" by Sean Achor. He says that most of us do it completely backwards. We think if we make a lot of money, then we can be happy, when the reality is that being happy makes it much more likely that we'll make a lot of money. Happiness needs to come first.
Bullshit. I've been happy. It goes away when you have to worry about money all day everyday or you lose your house and your cat dies because she can't breathe. Worms in the anus because you can't afford soap. A lot of happy people have absolutely no responsibilities and no interest in being anything or getting anywhere. Unfortunately, the rest of us have to have money to get by. They accused me of being depressed. The doctors said nobody could be happy living like I do and there is absolutely no reason I should have to. I have skills, a great resume. They dragged me out of my house and locked me up for literally no reason. Then made me lose my job. Then put me on probation for a crime I have never stood trial for and didn't commit. I'm sorry, but you don't know what you are talking about. Would you walk into a child labor camp and tell them they should just be happy without rights or payment? Fuck that. Take your communist shit to the bank and give me all your money then see how long you stay happy for.
It's easy to accept having nothing when you don't earn anything. But when you do, and you get shit on for no reason all day everyday, no sane person would be happy. And if you are so confident you would be, why do you have a bank account?
Most people who start out happy make more money because they obviously aren't being opresed to begin with.
Thanks for the MHO
