Isn't it weird that the FOOD Network does casting for restaurant patrons?

I don't have a way to get there tomorrow or I'd go just to see what it is like, but they want people to sit in a restaurant and eat while whatever show is going on. I always figured those shows just made whoever showed up sign waivers... not specifically casted people. They wanted photos and all that and people who look certain ways. I think I was supposed to pretend I was on a date or whatever. Strange. Pays a bit and you get a free meal so might've been interesting... but it can take up to 8 hours too.
