Which do you like more 80s popular music or 90s popular music?
What Girls & Guys Said75
80s. Bottom line is that by the 90s a lot of the popular music was becoming more derivative of 60s-80s music. This has continued until today. Production methods have changed but the real songwriting, production and instrumentation advances mostly took place prior to the 90s. So, I prefer the original sounds.
If I have to choose between the two, it's 90's. Although, I'd prefer more recent music.
80's (and 70s). Songs still had instruments and singing in them, rather than synth + autotune.
I think 80s although every decade has good artists and styles. It is always hard for me to choose between music decades.
80's cause Warrent, Poison, AC/DC, Metallica, Quiet Riot, Guns n Roses, and on and on...
I like some of both. But mainly the cheesy pop stuff of the 80s and the r&b jams of the 90s.
80's for sure
toss up for me
80s popular music was the shit:
Yeah, I know you like Men At Work as well. This song is a good example when popular music was still good.
