  • It really depends on what you like.

My favourite set of books are really for children, but I grew up with them and read them often. The nice thing about them is most are based on real places in UK, and some of which are local to me.

They are the Swallows and Amazons series of 12 books plus an unfinished 13th.

  • A thousand splendid suns, amazing book even though it made me cry three times
Reconstructing Amelia was so good I read it in one sitting
Les Misérables is my favorite book, ever.
I also love young adult novels like Percy Jackson because they're easy to read
The Help was also very good. It's one of those books I can read over and over and won't get bored
I have heard Gone Girl was really good but I haven't started it yet.

    • Thank you what is it about?

    • A man, his son, and wife become the winter caretakers of an isolated hotel where Danny, the son, sees disturbing visions of the hotel's past using a telepathic gift known as "The Shining". The father, Jack Torrance, is underway in a writing project when he slowly slips into insanity as a result of cabin fever and former guests of the hotel's ghosts. After being convinced by a waiter's ghost to "correct" the family, Jack goes completely insane. The only thing that can save Danny and his mother is "The Shining".

    • Thanks :) Sounds interesting
