Well, I really have no other way of writing it, so:
Danish national choir of some kind has a very long tradition for when the last and final "GONG" by the church bell sounds and we enter the new year, they start singing 3 songs following one another they are:; Vær velkommen herrens år. (we welcome your new year oh lord)
Der er et yndigt land (My country so fair and beautiful - danish national anthem)
and last: Kong Christian stod ved højen mast (I have no idea how to explain that; translated directly it means something like : Our king, Christian stood by the pole so high - its known as the "song of the king" and dates back more than 500 years.)
Fun fact is, that my ancestor and great-grandfather - a bishop named Nikolaj Frederik Severin Grundtvig wrote the first of the 3 song back around the 18th century. So I feel like I should get royalties, but It seems not many other people does too...
