Hmm that’s a tough question. I would have to say Prison Break or Stranger Things. If I want a comedy, The Office is the way to go.0THIS IS NOT RELEVANT ANYMORE

That's a difficult one. There are a lot of shows I've enjoyed.
I was never into shows that revolve around the life of the streets and the police. This show had phenomenal writing, dialogue, mystery, suspense, and it kept you wanting more, getting caught up in the investigation. Not only that, but you get a sense of realism, that this isn't some BS cop show, it's a reflection of real life.
I really love Ancient Rome and I think this show portrayed it best. While it was the most advanced civilization of the time, it wasn't all glorious the way it is depicted. Rome had it's unemployment, scheming, politcal strife, love and affairs, war. The acting was superb and It's sad that it was too expensive to go beyond 2 seasons.
Game of Thrones
I didn't think I would like it, but the dialogue in itself is enough. It's extremely unpredictable, when their is action, it is worthy of the big screen. It breaks down the bigger picture of the show, season after season. It's also a show that is known for killing off favorite characters because let's be real, most characters on shows have plot armor. There is little of that here.
Sons of Anarchy
The acting and writing are amazing. It is a masterpiece by Kurt Sutter. The show is loosely based on Hamlet. The whole show has two plots intertwined with each other, both the club story and the family. Both are tied and both are important. It has everything from action to comedy. It is not a happy story though.
This show is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries, which I watched because a friend recommended it. I didn't care for it, but this show is superior in every way. It isn't about recycled relationships between friends and more of a frequent power struggle in the city of New Orleans between supernatural factions.
