As a kid, I didn't have a lot of options.
Our local channels didn't air many international cartoons at all, except for Pokemon of course, which I and probably everyone else of my age has watched around that time.
My grandparents had access to Cartoon Network on their television, so I spent most of my summer breaks staying over to watch them.
Of course since it was in English I didn't really understand a thing, but I kept watching anyway.
I mostly enjoyed the shows that had little to no conversation (obviously) such as Tom and Jerry.
But I also liked Scooby Doo, Wacky Races, Dexter's Lab and Courage the Cowardly Dog. (hey, a shout-out)
I also remember watching Looney Tunes, Animaniacs, Talespin and Duck Tales, although I don't quite remember where those came from.

I didn't watch a lot of cartoons growing up. As a young child, the only cartoons I watched regularly were Winnie the Pooh and Tom and Jerry.
I was actually in my early teens when I started delving into the world of cartoons. Some of my favourites from those days were: Totally Spies, Tales from the Cryptkeeper, Looney Tunes, Arthur, Franklin (actually, I hated Franklin, but that damn theme song got me every time), and Scooby Doo.1

I was always a fan of a lot of Cartoon Network shows growing up, like Courage, Dexters Lab, Johnny Bravo, Pokemon (though I lost interest when they took out my favourite character), and Billy and Mandy. I always thought shows like Tom and Jerry and The Looney Tunes were more visually interesting than funny, say for a few episodes.1
