Looking to get into reading books again before bed, recommendations?

I used to read quite a damn lot when I was at school (for English and other units etc) but I actually do enjoy reading a good book.

My favourite ever book - well series is Cherub by Robert Muchamore. I loved the entire concept, and the books in general.
I also read Blood Song by Anthony Ryan which was pretty good too.
Even books like Jasper Jones & The Hunger Games were enjoyable?

Just looking for some decent books, can be more aimed at youth or adults, I don't mind more complex concepts or ideas.
Updates:
My favourite book would be "Baseball Moon" by John H Ritter.

    Deception Point

Although lol you won't be able to sleep while reading them. His books keep you on your toes. You can read Agatha Christie's books too. They're very intriguing.
