Do you think if the average human lifetime was expanded to 300 years will change something?

  • By having a longer lifespan a lot more humans will be infertile, education would probably be till your 50 odd, many people will probably be told they have to specialise in something and that's their thing to do in the world.

  • I think with age people grow wiser. With everything else remaining the same, except you just age slower (like, you graduate high school at 18 still, and transition into adulthood just the same as now. Except somewhere in the middle, maybe 30s-50s would last for like 150 years alone.

Since people grow wiser with age, I feel like the world would be better off. So many of us never realize that we could be more than we are until it's too late. Until we are regretting our lives. That's not a good thing today! But if you were 300, well there would be some really wise people out there who might have more time to pass on their wisdom. How many of us in the normal population had some kind of mentor? We would have old ass mentors, age 250 and shit.

Then again you have old people who get stuck in their ways, and stay racist forever or something stupid like that. Then again, any normal person who gets a good spectrum of experience in life will overcome low level things like racism.

So I don't know. More time for people to learn to love, and see we are all human and connected to the universe surely has to be a positive thing.

  • We're already over populated. If you add four times the life span it would be out of control.
