Elvis's music is indeed danceable, but I'm more of a Buddy Holly kind of guy.
Lol thank you! Yes, I'm listening to a lot of things besides Nirvana like Neil Diamond, David Bowie, Carpenters, Elton John, and so on :)
That's pretty sweet!! I just went to a band that was cranking out random popular hits and a couple of oldies. But guess what they chose for their last song... Sweet Caroline! and I am going to assume they purposely (because I headed to my car to avoid traffic) made everybody sing along in the crowd, but a special mention of the carpenters, nice! Carpenters are for sure classic but don't have a sound that everybody takes to, and I don't hear them that often, kudos to you! great list!
@Matt57 Indeed, and that pretty awesome to hear! You cannot get anymore classic than buddy holly unless you start playing the piano (Beethoven) which ironically he does or was they jerry lee lewis… ?
@Jjpayne it's Jerry Lee Lewis, ole Killer himself
When it comes to music, I like the Carter Family, Jimmie Rodgers, a little bit of Ernest Tubb, Hank Williams Sr., Johnny Horton, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Kitty Wells, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, the Collins Kids, Wanda Jackson, Janis Martin, the Beach Boys, Chuck Berry, June Carter, Marty Robbins, Ricky Nelson, Fabian, Dion & the Belmonts, the Supremes, etc.
@Matt57 That's quite a list!!! That makes me happy and shows that good music will truly never die, it will always have audience! and I say this knowing that I still love music from today, I just like to remember the shoulders and which someone like Bruno mars is standing
Listened to Bebe rexha expectations it was ok now on going onto Christina Aguilera liberation it has a shirt on the back saying s*ck my d*ck so thats interesting... Oh and from the picture it looks like you need to charge you phone lol
Christina Aguilera liberation was pretty good, it kind of reminded me of Pink
Thanks for the MHG!!
Again I am not a weeaboo I swear
Also, the third one (Lazarus in love) is amazing the mashup of songs was perfectly chosen, David Bowie's Lazarus played over Dandy in love with absolutely sublime alterations to fit the lyrics make for a beautiful song.
I'm not, I can't prove it but I'm not!
