1970's Disco greats
@Poormanscomedian but that was disco and not really pop

@Poormanscomedian no 2001 lol I liked Beyonce, rihanna, lady gaga, and kesha
Blow this joint? Tic Toc?
gosd i had to live through all that and if i had to choose any era to throw away it would be the eighties... subculture music was amazing and progressive but sickly pop was just aweful
kraftwerk were amazing and world leaders but not pop if you see my point
@wankiam well i love duran duran or petshop boys or kim wilde
oh yeah they were pop so fair enough
jeez not you too...
I like the hits from the 80’
you know in the 80s it was a minority that listened to stuff like that... im assuming you mean wham and culture club and such like. in reality far more alternative music got sold because the thing back then was to rebel and be in varying factions of different subcultures ranging from stuff as mundane as soft rock to ppositive punks, to goths, to smoothies, to soulies to thrash metallers to industrial to early hip hop and so on... pop was actually very much not a true reflection of the times... not saying you shouldn't like what you like but just wanted to point out the reality of what happened in music in the eighties and how fragmented it truley was.. it was early nineties were we all came back together through dance music but then again that had nothing to do with pop bands like take that and the spice girls. pop was still something only teenage girls listened to in their bedrooms
Looks like 1980's have it
!960's rocked the Doors, Stones , and The Who.
@Poormanscomedian they deffo were not pop... see you didn't mention the beatles
@wankiam pop culture , no they were rock
@Poormanscomedian well isn't that what i was saying?
