Leap! I know most of you aren't going to agree with me because it's kind of boring, but I just think it's such a cute movie. The message behind it is wholesome and true. Maybe I could get tired of it, but I just loved Carly Rae Jepsen's character in this movie. Her voice is very mature, yet mesmerizing. She seems like the kind of person who is straightforward, chill and in general, just a great mentor. I actually strive to be just like that. Basically the movie is animated. It's about a girl who runs away from an orphanage to Paris. She finds out that she wants to pursue her dream as a ballerina and is mentored by odette, who is voiced by carley rae jepsen. They constantly ask the main character, who is voiced by Elle Fanning why she dances. By the end of the movie, she says that dancing is a part of her life and it's her dream. I bet a lot of younger girls can relate to the character's struggle throughout the story and her competition with another character who has a mother that puts too much pressure on her to win, instead of genuinely enjoy the art of dancing. I think that character was voiced by one of the zeiglers from dance moms. Anyway the main character is bullied, a part of her growth as a character, by the girl that is competing with her. (Sorry I don't know her name I forgot). By the end of the movie the main character becomes stronger and learns to stand up to the girl who is bullyi g her. By the end of the movie we realize that, the mean girl doesn't actually have a passion for dance. I think this is a great movie for young girls. It can help them understand that any dream is achievable and any obstacle can be overcome. It's pretty realistic as well. I could watch this movie over and over again because It reminds me that you an do anything you set your mind to. It's not the best or most entertaining movie, but it sure has a good message!
