@ariadneR You know it 👍
I love The Prestige: one of my favs, and actually my favorite Nolan film.
@Obtuse Absolute 10/10 film, watched it a few years ago but it's still one of my top movies I've ever watched.
I watched it twice in a row in the theater when it came out and was blown away. I usually don't like those kinds of twist-heavy types of films because I'm usually like, "WTF -- that seemed a bit out of the blue", but with Prestige it's more like, "Ohhhh! It makes perfect sense now with all the clues being left behind. That's awesome!"
I didn't like Inception nearly as much for some reason. My favorite Nolan ones are probably Prestige, Dark Knight, and Memento.
@Obtuse I've never seen memento. Any good?
Seen Dark Knight too and the joker performance was top notch but apart from that the movie was mediocre at best. Rip Heath Ledger 😪
@ariadneR I love it. It's not as polished as his other films and a much lower budget, but the concept is really interesting along with the writing and directing. It's basically about a man who was injured and suffers a form of short-term memory loss where he can't retain any new information after 5 minutes. However, his wife was murdered and he's trying to investigate her death. So to help him remember he does things like take photographs, write notes on his body, etc. That's the basic premise.
@ariadneR The story is basically told mostly from his POV which makes it particularly interesting like you're seeing him struggle to remember all these things, meet characters he's met already but he can't quite remember, etc. It's all shown primarily from his perspective.
@Obtuse I am intrigued...
Yep thats it
One man. one invincible cop... must now go undercover and face his greatest fears. There is no bathroom.
@Obtuse Kindergarten Cop?
@CaptainSmartass Yep! I love that movie. :-D

Nope but that's a good guess and a fun movie to put in the mix if you can summarize holes but then people will guess it :)
Aw man :)
@whatthefluff I think it's time for the big reveal :)
I was thinking that!
He's one of my favorite characters, supportive innocent and clumsy :)
Huh! I've never heard of that
@whatthefluff ernest is not for everyone but he holds a sweet spot for me.
And they totally ruined that movie.
I don't know, I quite liked it and it followed the book well
I was disappointed from the first preview. We were in space when they first attacked us, not using current fighter jets. A lot of it was decent, but that movie should have been animated or a TV series. There was just to much information to make a good crossover.
Also, that's the book that got me into reading when I was 12.
That could be quite a few movies. A Christmas Carol comes to mind.
@CallMeGarth It involves things that shouldn't talk but for some reason do. Does that help?
Eg Daily. Dotty lol. She was actually pretty cute. She was in Rob Zombie's Halloween too. Pretty sure she died a few years back of cancer
@r0se11e that’s correct!
