I agree, that most likely is the reason. Maybe celebrity gossip gives them something to talk about.
I agree. It would be best for people to focus on enhancing their own lives instead of idolizing total strangers.
No life/boring life is probably a big part of the reason!
Thanks for MHO😀

Yes, following celebrities definitely doesn't require very much thinking!
Yes, many people seem to get hit pretty hard by celebrity deaths.
i never though Diana was a celebrity. So if I married a star , I would be a celebrity?
I agree. They're not the best role models.
I agree that they most likely are very boring people!
Yes, following celebrities does take up a lot of time. And wastes a lot of time too!
Yes. Sometimes if you come across a headline regarding them on lets say a news app like BBC news, the headline might be something vague which will catch your attention and you might feel compelled to open the article but I often don't bother opening it on the news app because it really doesn't matter.
Lol I love the nickname of Tell Lie Vision. That's so funny and also so true!And yes, those people probably do lead very dull lives and don't realize that the celebrities don't care about them and never will.
Tell Lie Vision really. Buddy I'm sorry you have to stop thinking everything is evil.
No, it really isn't! A lot of people don't seem to understand that though.
Yes, they're not always as special as people think they are.
Is your cousin a man or a woman?
@Flower7 She's a woman
I thought so. I don't know of many men who are interested in the Kardashians' lives.
I consider athletes to be celebrities also. They have very little value except for entertainment purposes.
I actually know plenty of adults who get very excited about things that go on in celebrities' lives.
Living life through someone else's life , I guess
It is boring, I agree! I care more about things that can actually benefit MY life.
That's good that you get to see the other side of things, since you know a celebrity personally. You've learned that there's no reason to idolize people.
Don't think she'd want me saying
ok message me
That's a great way to think about it!
That's probably true. :)
It seems like people would rather add excitement to their own lives instead of living through others, but I guess it doesn't work that way.
That makes sense, but just what did you have in mind? I think most people can't afford the type of life they aspire to live, they avoid pain, and they don't like change.
Well, that's hard to answer in a general sense because every person desires different things. But a few ideas would be: Learning a hobby and getting really good at something. Finding some friends to go out with and do activities with. Spending more time on their appearance by wearing nice outfits, hairstyles, and makeup. Taking an acting or modeling class.
You're absolutely right, butPeople will always have excuses for their situation, and why they're "stuck"They want the path of least resistance, I think we're all guilty of that sometimes. It's no walk in the park to constantly seek improvement. There's a balance to everything, and I don't think it's fair to suggest some cookie cutter solution to someone who lacks excitement or enthusiasm. It's usually a much deeper issue.
Sorry, I know I'm ranting, and it's probably because I'm feeling "stuck" myself
Bzz. Wrong.Journalism doesn't follow American celebs.There is an industry that includes tabloids, gossip magazines, entertainment tv coverage, TMZ and the like, but you can't confuse those with journalism. The tabloid and celebrity gushing market is an industry meeting a need. Millions of Americans- and many outside the US- wanna know.
Wrong. Even here in the states the have to mention some dumb as fuck sports or entertainers. And yes, there a whole sub industry dedicated to said dumb as fuck "rich and famous" people.
That is because they have more money than they know what to do with. Yet , they always want more
I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone in this.
Definitely not. Besides, most shows are police, court, or medical shows which have been done to death... I have zero interest in watching that stuff at all.
Yes, most people definitely seem to love drama!
bro just stop. Republicans are always like "respect my political belief" so how about you do the same. It's getting annoying hearing Republicans hate Democrats argument.
@Froyologirl I am not Republican
@Froyologirl what is IDC?
@888theGreat “I don’t care” have a nice day
@DapperDinosaur If she didn't care , why she comment in the first place?
@888thegreat bro really
@Froyologirl Really what? I not lazy, I spell all my words out. I don't use codes. I wish the younger generation was not so lazy.
@888theGreat it's not that serious lmao
