Yep, product concept is outdated. They have to stop developing things that are already declining. Hologram will be the future.
@usr_963 No, that's even more of a gimmick than 3D TV. Holograms won't have the richness or the clarity of today's flat screens
all tech become more generalized in purpose. like the phones. before they only make phone calls. now they are practically a general purpose computer. car only drive and play music before. now it have gps and whatnot and soon we have self driving car. everything et all networked and connected and computerized
I've been thinking about getting rid of tv completely. Never watching it is this what you did? Do you not watch movies either anymore?
i use my computer for what movies I do watch-i use a powerpoint projector and some good speakers and watch movies up on the living room wall! I quit tv a long long time ago. I had Direct TV and I realized that i spent more time surfing channels than actually watching anything. So I discontinued it and I have never, ever regretted it.
So what do you do in your free time now? Have you notice any difference on how you view shows now?
I am pretty goal oriented-my occupation is such that my free time is at a premium. So-i don't watch very many "tv shows" at all. When I am watching something on the computer, it is usually a movie or news. My one guilty pleasure, I'm embarrassed tosay, is this website. :) Otherwise spend a lot of my free time outdoors, running, or hiking or skiing. Really-and you will find this out-getting rid of tv frees up a whole chunk of time during which you can pursue all sorts of more worthwile things.
