What kind of music do you listen to while trying to concentrate?

Question

So whether it's an exam, report for work, marking, planning or designing something, woodwork, hobbies anything that requires your full concentration

For me its anywhere from soft rock, heavy rock, metal. My typical go tos are A-ha, ACDC, mamma mia/2 soundtracks, guardians of the galaxy/2 soundtacks, nirvana, linkin park, but if I had to pick one it would be simple minds.

I've fallen asleep listening to nirvana and Alice Cooper before lol

Mozart or Bach over the top of stream sounds. Very effective for me. I have ADD which has made it difficult in the past. Listening to music written by a genius that has endured really helps

i heard listening to video game soundtracks help with studying. i think its because with music was designed to help you focus on a game, so it works the same way for studying

Almost any- including rnb- except for rap (I don't consider rap and rnb to be equivalent genres). Many times when I am working on my computer, I'll have the telly on in the family room, and I can really listen to that and still type at the same time.

When I am trying to concentrate I prefer it to be quiet. For me music would be a distraction.

It's wonderful how different people are, see if I don't listen to music my mind wonders and everything tends to distract me while if I listen to music I seem to get hyper focused and work really well, has to be certain music though which is why I normally listen to rock melodies
