@___nik such as who? I just gave an example of this show trying to rewrite history and you weakly go for a strawman and give no examples.
See it's all the fad to blackface any character possible now even if they were always white. Catwoman, jill valentine, iris west, are three fictional examples of current/just recent blackfacing.
Marlon Brando in The Teahouse of the August Moon (1956) as Sakini a local Japanese interpreter from Okinawa, Benedict Cumberbatch in Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) as the west-asian Khan Noonien Singh, Johnny Depp in The Lone Ranger (2013) as the Native American Tonto, Jake Gyllenhaal in Prince of Persia (2010) as the persian Dastan, Katharine Hepburn in Dragon Seed (1944) as a Chinese woman, Scarlett Johansson in Ghost in the Shell (2017) as the japanese Motoko Kusanagi, Angelina Jolie in A Mighty Heart (2007) as the African-Cuban Mariane Pearl, Emma Stone in Aloha (2015) as Allison Ng a quarter Chinese and a quarter Hawaiian woman (this is probably the worst one), the entire cast of Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014), Ben Affleck in Argo (2012) as the latino Tony Mendez, and much much more.
also queen charlotte was descended directly from an African branch of the Portuguese Royal House and was clearly written in history as the second black queen of britain. the pictures painted of her are incorrect representations just like Holbein’s portrait of Anne of Cleves - sent to favourably tempt Henry VIII into a marriage agreement. it is reported that often times the artists of royal paintings often took it to their artistic liberty to "bend the truth" and make the kings and queens look falsely attractive, and the most attractive thing of the time was fair skin. her physician, Baron Christian Friedrich Stockmar, reportedly described the queen as "small and crooked, with a true mulatto face". why would a white person have a mulatto face?
@___nik queen charlotte was not African in the least. Even Wikipedia could have solved your ignorance. en.m.wikipedia.org/.../Charlotte_of_Mecklenburg-Strelitz
@___nik the reality is black people desperately want to insert themselves white European but it's just that-desperation and grasping at straws while denying reality and history.
if you think wikipedia is a reliable source, i'm sorry i have more intelligent people to talk to. you are basically regurgitating your claims from that site, even when i have given you the argument that portraits of royalty were often altered to fit beauty standards, and in the portrait that Lady Mary Coke called the likeness "so like that it could not be mistaken for any other person," the queen looks biracial and has African features.
even if the queen wasn't black, i don't see the problem in a black person playing a white character, as there have been NUMEROUS examples of white people playing people of color and no one caring. the fact that people care so much about a black person playing a potentially white character brings forth the discussion that clear racism exists today.
@___nik wikipedia provides links to all it's statements. I'm sorry your IQ is so low you can't follow them or provide any links of your own. Have fun with your desperate conspiracy theory that queen charlotte was black!
you think i didn't read them? you seem to be the one with no reading comprehension :) and even if she was white (which she wasn't) i don't see the problem with a black woman playing a white character. so it seems to me like you are both unintelligent and racist <3 pls get a life.
