All the castings are good looking

I watched the first episode, and I'm going to give the rest of it a pass. It's not my style of historical drama. I found it very targeted to teens and young adults - their answer for getting into historical pieces. At first I found the racial inaccuracies a bit much (and yes, Queen Charlotte had traces of black going back six generations, but she certainly wasn't mulatto), but then again - I had to tell myself that many historical dramas aren't so true to history and are meant to entertain. But to me, this seemed more like a historical drama for beginners. Some of the scenes were contrived and a bit silly, such as Eloise's cringeworthy opener of "DAPHNEEEE! YOU MUST MAKE HASTE!!" >smile< "You think she heard me?" Such a shame since a lot of the older actors in the series were once part of such fantastic films and series that I had a lot more love and respect for - such as Polly Walker's work in "Rome".

Sorry.. I know you love the show, but I prefer more sophisticated pieces such as Victoria, Poldark, The Crown, Garrow's Law, Rome, etc.

My girlfriend watched it with me. Lets just say it got her wetter than October. I do hope by season two the actress who plays eloise gets her tits out. She's 30 playing a 16 year old unreal, I think she will have an lgbtq storyline possibly with the plump girl. Also who knew during the regency there were so many black folks in England, even black aristocracy and royalty when Britain only outlawed slavery in 1833.

Pretty sure this Queen would be picking sugar cane in Jamaica 🇯🇲

We watched episode 1, but weren’t very impressed with it. The editing is cut so sharp that you don’t get to sense or feel the emotions of the characters. Even that fuck scene under that tree was just seconds and then gone. We preferred Victoria, or The Crown, or even Downton Abbey. They were all paced much better.

Bridgerton goes so far to be politically correct it's pathetic. And Queen Charlotte wasn't black or biracial, she was white. The whole BS thing of her being black was one black author's claims about a painting where here nostrils are flared... and in the dozens of portraits of her, she is a white European in all of them.
