I have just a one fist list of 5 music genres I just can't stand over time...
Not understandable scream grouwl Metal without real instrumental music (more like noise) Electronic or tec over 125 bpm base Fckn Pop (not like the king of pop, like pop today) Fckn Volksmusik (I'm in Austria, you know what I'm talking about)
And, oh God, I hate radio... even if they play a good song, its just one of the outsucked reheated trash everybody knows who is alive... its more like propaganda to me, no thanks, thats trash
Yes I do
Because, music is a kind of art, but the broad mass does not unterstand art, unfortunately...
If I talk with people about music, I often realize that I know more genres of music than they know bands/musicians...
But I think music I one of my professions... My cd stack is filled with albums I bought direct at the concert, most if them hand signatured from all band members...
For me, it needs a good sound but also skill to be "good music"

Eh well i graduated with a music degree so i have an appreciation for most music and i have dated girls who have had different music tastes than me.
But depends on if there playing whatever is the charts around me for to long. While i understand it's music made for the masses not for me a music nerd, it's still annoying to hear.
My ex who was the last person one would ever expect to listen to this type of music, was a hardcore fan of German heavy metal. Just picture this....you're ready for a date, you're looking hot, and you get in the car for the 30 minute ride to and from the restaurant blasting on the radio at the highest volume possible, are the cacophonous German guttural screams from the apparent basement of the devil himself. I'm not even going to mention the terrifying playlist he once made me. It was impossible not to judge and I eventually judged him right out of my life.
Nope. What others like and do with their lives doesn't effect or bother me in any way. Also you should never judge anyone, especially if you're judging them solely on their taste in music. I say this because for people like me music is a therapeutic tool and they're just working things out for themselves. Some days my music probably makes people question what hood I grew up in and other days they probably wonder what strip club I dance like that in to those tunes. Haha music is just a mood to me.

I don’t “judge” them in the sense of looking down on them, necessarily. Like I might think their taste stinks, lmao, but I don’t think less of them for it at the end of the day. And I’d say sometimes music can tell you about a person’s vibe, but at the same time, you can’t really make any hard assumptions off of it. But I mean, if a dude rolled up blaring country music, I probably wouldn’t guess that he was born in the inner city.

I don't, but whenever I tell people my preference they give me looks of surprise whenever I say Metal and Rock.
I am not sure if they think it is because I am biracial (black and white) and expected a stereotype or if it's just not their taste. Either way, doesn't bother me.

I don't judge. There's more to relate to someone besides music, so it's no big deal.

Yes. Music reveals a lot about a person, as does the volume. In the case of cars, the volume of the stereo is inversely proportional to the IQ of the driver.

I try not to judge too much unless they try to push it on me.

Nope.
I'll like my music and you can like whatever it is you listen to. We don't have to like each others music.
