What was the theme of the dream bedroom you wanted as a kid/teen?

I had my kick boxing/karate/boxing/pop Warner football/hockey I had all my different sport trophies and all my fighting belts I achieved on custom built shelves on the wall and I had posters of Pamela Anderson and Kathy Ireland and bruce lee & bolo young i painted right on the wall with Mike tyson and Muhammad Ali and 49ers and Dallas cowboys and ofcourse Patriots and when my room was dark I had the lightning ball when u touched it the static electricity lightning balls would follow your hands and I had black lights it made my stickers of stars glow in the dark I had all different planets WTH a star war theme it was my planetarium lt was cooo 😎 lol and I had A WATER BED sense elementary School 💪🏽😂😂😂 and my red line & GT and bmx bikes hanging next too my skate boards and snow boards and ice skates and my Angel brand paint ball gun with my nunchucks my room was in the basement it was a half finished basement the other half I built my mini bike and go carts and moped 😂😂 lt was my man give I Always had friends sleep over during the weekdays of school did not have to wait for weekends lol when girls sleep over ohh yeah I had our football team and cheerleaders poster on my wall and my girl was putting small tally marks on my wall marking who slept over and I did not sleep with all of them lol my girl was crazy she never left my side but yeah my room was a club house /man cave I was the quarterback my girl was head of the cheerleading squad blah blah prom king and queen that was the last memory I had painted I'm trying too find the picture albums watch I show u 😂😆 my room was the size off half the house really I got spoiled I owned it with good grades and achieving awards And trophies but my memory of my room and i will post pics lm still looking!!

I was very into sports, so I tried to have a sports themed room with posters and pennants, etc.

Then around 14 I decided I wanted my room to look minimalist like Ice Cube’s did in the It Was A Good Day video, haha. And I never accomplished it, but that was the idea in my head. When I was a kid my bedroom was the toy and fantasy room - I had Kermit Christmas Books and Wizard of Oz Books and I had a very cute doll that I named Caffeina and I had Lego blocks and marbles and Barbie toy sets and miniature tea sets and fake nail polish sets and one year my parents bought me a coke from McDonalds with images of Disney in it and I kept that coke cup for at least 1-3 months. I thought it was super exciting! As a teenager, I decided to paint my bed room green and it remained that colour until I moved to my new home.

My Mother found porn mags, (this was in 1990s when mags were still written) she cut out all the photos and used polyurethane to plaster them all on my bedroom walls while I was at summer camp. I came back at was mortified, Now I think it was very cool what she did. She covered the real hot parts with blurbs from the magazine but it was a huge, "It's okay, you don't need to hide it" statement. She died shortly thereafter and it's one of the last things she did before getting to sick to stay out of hospital. Bit I was 10-11 and my friends thought it was amazing that my Mother had put them up

As a kid in the early - mid 2000s the best theme I could ever have dreamed for was a lego bionicle theme. But that's only in hindsight. Growing up my walls were always bare. Then, the thought hardly ever crossed my mind that I could put things up there. I had actual bionicles so I guess that was enough for me.

Medieval castle complete with tapestries and a huge bed, swords and a chest. That's pretty much what my bedroom looks like now. 1500's big bed, 12 swords, a 1557 chest, 4 Flemish tapestries and pair of throne chairs. I knew what I wanted since I was 6.

When I was little, I loved dinosaurs. When I was a bit older, I was into WWI airplanes because my dad introduced me to them.
As a teen, I thought psychedelic hippie stuff was cool. That blended with rock music elements in my late teens as I started going to concerts and becoming a rock guitarist.

As a child/teen, I just wanted a bedroom full of books xD didn't have the money for it therefore I opted out on being a regular guest in the library instead.
Since getting my own income I've kind of fulfilled this dream and own 300+ books (not counting all of my ebooks) now... The problem is though that I'm way too exhausted from work most of the time to actually read them.
