Any Riverdale watchers? Any characters you like or dislike and why?

So here’s my gripe with Riverdale... and I fell off after the second season, I have no idea what happened after Mr. Lodge framed Archie, last I saw was him being arrested and taken from the pep rally, so no spoilers please, haha... why on EARTH is Jughead Jones any sort of heartthrob? My girlfriend and I watch it, I don’t think you’re supposed to say “no homo” anymore lmao, but even I can see the kid who plays Archie is objectively a stud. Jughead looks like some half-dead, pasty motherfucker lmao. So we were absolutely SHOCKED that the younger girls think HE’S the hot one on the show, and Archie doesn’t seem to get much love. I’m hearing Gen Z girls dig scrawny, borderline-effeminate dudes, and that simply blows my fucking mind🤯 I’m not saying you can’t be rooting for Jughead, I’m not saying he’s necessarily ugly, but I’m saying I can’t believe he’s seen as anything much more than a pretty average dude, physically. And I don’t remember finding his character that compelling, I’m not into that whole dark, brooding, emo kind of thing. Archie is Mr. All-American, if this show came out in the 1990s, he’d be the story. Maybe I’m wearing hetero-blinders for this, but I like to think I know an objectively good-looking kid when I see one, and if I was a casting agent or modeling scout, I’d be giving Archie my business card on sight and actively and aggressively pursuing him to get him under contract. I wouldn’t look twice at the kid who plays Jughead.

I hope we’re at least in agreement that Veronica is the hottest chick on the show, maybe only rivaled by Mrs. Lodge. The little petite chick Toni is pretty dime too, actually, can’t forget her.

I’ll have to catch up before I speak on anything plot related though. RIP Luke Perry, too, btw😭

I literally only watch the show for Cheryl. The show it self best season was 1st for sure.
The whole time jump thing was dumb, and Veronica dad not been killed at any point in the million chances made 0 sense and he just keeps doing the same stuff over again and again he was really good at first but now he's annoying and pointless and should be dead. Archie has no reason not to kill him and he has killed before and if fine with killing literally goes to the army and kills people.

Honestly it's all gone down hill now, and Betty's silence of lambs reference, makes me cringe. Wish it ended with just the whole we didn't see each other for another 6 years then took an actual 6 year break and came back with a better story than this.
Pointless jump which worsen the show.
veronica is still alright tho, and cheryl welp i love her no matter what.

Jughead... He's just so incredibly cringy! Just the way he talks and goes around acting like he's better than everyone else.

Also, I have a love hate relationship with Betty. Sometimes she's badass but other times, she comes off as a freaking Karen I just can't.

I dislike Jughead, he's super whiney and gets upset over the littlest things which pisses me off. In some instances I dislike Betty too, just because she's always up in peoples business and sometimes she was mean to Veronica for no reason at all, but other than that Betty is alright.

I watched a few episodes of Riverdale I’m not impressed with it what so ever. They literally think they can take childhood books or cartoon add real murder to hype it up not worth watching whatsoever. They ruined Archie and Nancy Drew
