What is your favorite art?

Oh gosh. As a Communications and Graphic Arts major, I had 3 manual drafting courses (1 in H. S., no CAD-CAM), 2 B/W photog classes, 2 color photog classes, 1 color slide, 1 kodalith to silk screen, 1 slide presentation, 1 studio shoot work, 2 drawing classes, 4 visual classes, 1 shop class with welding, lathe, blow molding, model making, 1 product design class, 2 rendering classes (think tight pastel work, before virtual /computer CG), intaglio, aquatint, Color-Key, my Thesis presentation, and heaven knows what else that I can't remember. Photography by A. Adams, E. Weston and maybe A. Leibovitz is very good artistically.

But my favorite pieces of art are those my grandkids draw. As "real art" they may fall short, but they represent the kids' heart and soul and THAT makes them awesome!

That is actually quite a difficult question. I am no aficionado, but I like the older arts (from the Romantic period). I am drawn to paintings done around the 1700's to late 1800's. I don't mind a tasteful sculpture.
Certain buildings are also considered artistic.
I consider myself to be an artist myself: I draw maps of imaginary places.
