You forgot Walkman
@genericname85 already said that 6 hrs before me. There is a rule about posting something already shared.
@dustybiker not sure I agree with some that you posted. Cadbury is a company, so is Hershey nestle elmers. They aren’t products.
“Brand name” is part of the question. Elmers is known as the item common white glue. Just following the rules and answering for fun. Your game.
Yes by it’s brand name, not corporate identity. Maybe you’re mixing up brand name with name brand. Like scotch-tape is a brand name, it isn’t the name of the company. It’s made by 3M.

Not so sure about jeep. After all jeep is a nickname for GP vehicle also know as General Purpose vehicle. But also you don’t call a Toyota land cruiser, or Landrover a jeep.
People tend to use jeep as a name for a general off-road vehicle. Because there's honestly not many more reliable brands that make cars for that besides Mercedes maybe.
Reliable? I can rely on them to be top heavy and flip. 🤣 That’s why the US army now uses HMVs now.
the humvy is not practical on any european road or parking space. plus it's whay too maintenance heavy, way too wasteful with fuel and not comfortable to ride. and those h2 commercial versions are just a joke. nobody with a bit of pride would get such a thing.you'll tip any vehicle at some point and the jeeps aren't that bad that they're not still very practical. i mean it's litterally still considered the best offroad vehicle next to the mercedes ones.
Bzzzzzz. Wrong. Ketchup isn’t a brand name.
Ketchup is Heinz.
Ketchup isn’t a brand name. It’s a condiment. Heinz doesn’t own the word ketchup. Think of it this way: we refer to all instantly developing film as Polaroids Even though lots of camera manufacturers have instant film.
Then why is other brands called catsup?
Because they are from different cultures. There are some other differences too. But it’s like the difference between a doughnut and a donut. By the way, they call it that because when you make a doughnut the inner shape is a square but a circle. At the time they invented doughnuts a nut was a square shape not the current shape of an octagon. And when I say nut I mean nut as in bolt and nut.
@shortster I don't know about walkie talkie.
Interesting. I didn’t know that one. +50 points.
Ummm that’s not a brand name
Hoover? I don’t think I’ve ever said “I need to hoover”
Please ask someone from UK
Not sure about that one. What is its generic name?
Baileys is a coffee liqueur.
No it isn't
