Well it did fit on one 1.44mb floppy! (My dad showed me his copy, he even got a usb floppy working and loaded it onto my laptop. My project was get it to work… I never did, but I played it on his PC)
@CrazyGirl2 You mean a 3-D printed save icon? C: I've got a copy lying about somewhere, too.
I don't know what you mean about the 3D printed save icon, but Doom was great so was Castle wolfenstein! I love classic pc games that were made b4 I was born! There is just something cool about knowing that they predate me!
@CrazyGirl2 old pc games make me nostalgic hard lol. Especially on the old Apple II or IBM computers
@CrazyGirl2 You should look up Elite, from around 1982, iirc. The "3-D printed save icon" is what someone was supposed to have said when presented with a real floppy disc. It's probably not true.
I’ve never heard that one. Especially given that 1.44 floppy disks are not 3D printed?
@CrazyGirl2 No, the icon for saving is still roughly a picture of a 3.5" disc, despite them being obsolete for decades; supposedly, when a young person was shown a real disc, they thought it was a 3-d printed icon.
Oh, I have never heard of that, I texted my dad (the head of IT/Security) and he hasn’t heard it either, but made sure to comment (“look princess just because I’ve not heard that one does not mean that it didn’t happen, it may be something I’m too old for! This industry moves fast, the memes/stories etc move even faster, who knows? It could be true, I’ve just never heard it, sorry princess”) *cut and pasted for your convenience*
