I’ve been an Ariana Stan for 7 years now. I love Doja too, Dojas career is definitely more exciting than Aris at the moment. She is 100% the greatest performer in the industry right now, and her writing skills are insane. Her bars go crazy.

You can tell Ariana is starting to get tired of the pop star, going on tour life. It’s crazy to think about how Ari has been in the industry for over 10 years now, she’s married and is probably thinking about having kids so I understand why she’s been focusing on other things.
I hope and pray she goes on at least one more tour because I need to get meet and greet or at least front row tickets. I’ve seen her live twice but I never been in the pit and saw her up close.
As for Meg and Cardi…. eh. They both have a few good songs but they just bore me. Especially Meg, she’s been making the same song over and over again for years and sweetie im BORED of it. They’re both talented but they don’t interest me

And of course the other girls are more focused on rapping but they will NEVER come close to Ariana’s vocals. None of these pop girls voices can compare to Ariana.
And the general public doesn’t realize that Ariana has written the majority of her songs (she’s even written for other artists) she co produces, does the vocal arrangements. When you hear a harmony in Ariana’s song, its not editing or a vocoder. She literally records and layers every single note herself. The choir you hear in God is a Woman is all entirely hundreds of layers that Ariana recorded individually.
Y’all think she’s just a pop girl who steps in the studio and records songs other people wrote, and you’re wrong. Y’all need to look up videos of her in the studio and see how creative she is

I actually believe Ariana just doesn’t want to go on tour because of COVID. Also her marriage definitely matured her. Her style changed and she seems happier. I’ve been a Stan since victorias 😭.

I don’t even wanna call Doja a singer, I’ve yet to see Doja surprise us with a really good LIVE vocal performance. She usually raps live but she’ll lip sync the singing parts of her songs. I know Doja has a good singing voice but she hasn’t shown that she can deliver live vocals yet!

@DizzyDesii The Mariah comparisons were only valid during her first couple years. Her first album definitely gave Mariah vibes but the rest of her music was definitely her own style. She’s still one of the top artists right now despite not even releasing music, and she’s been one of the top artists for 10 years. She wouldn’t of lasted this long for being nothing but a “mini Mariah”
