Absolutely love it!I use a bike like this. Its nice doing like 40 or 50km... that's a substantial ride for a day for some quality exercise These can go expensive but the sweet spot for a bike is around $1000 for casual riders. You have the shifters where the breaks are. The roll is amazingly smooth. The breaks are outstanding because they are actual discs. Shifting is super smooth. It just glides. So light, just pick it up with like 2 fingers under the bar...
Cool bike. 👍
I rode a bike to secondary school for 6 years and then to work for a year. Now I no longer care for cycling (I only walk or take public transport to places), and I wouldn’t want any reason to have to wear a helmet... my hairdo is too important for my appearance & self-esteem 💁🏻♂️
Thanks for replying 😇👍
It's safer to walk but we get to our destination a lot faster if we bike. I prefer to ride alone. I can't really talk to the other person if we ride together (and I need to concentrate on the traffic around me).I love walking with someone and talk to them then. We have privacy and it's good exercise, too. ;)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~🌟 🌟 🌟 Free book: "Woman to Women" @ smashwords. com/books/view/938595 🌟 🌟 🌟
Yes. But I have back problems, so the hunched over position of most bikes is bad for me. And I don’t bike enough that I feel it’s work to invest in one that’s more upright.
Sorry to hear that. Thanks for being so honest ♥️🥰
It’s all good. And you’re welcome. :)
Their very fun.
I like bicycles ok, if they’re a good height, and the tires and breaks are good. I don’t really care much for bicycling around where I live, though. I think overall in my area, I prefer walking. Huge 10 inch walkways aren’t an issue, I can go off the beaten path if I want, and it’s easier to fend off badly behaved dogs. But if I can find a good path that is made by a city that actually considers their bicyclists, then I prefer bicycling.
I like both. When it is short distance - i prefer to walk and when it is a bit longer - I choose my bicycle. It is a perfect exercise to keep me fit and increasing my stamina and breathing control. It is also my share against the pollution. Though some laugh when I ride a cycle instead of a bike or car (I have bith but use it when necessary). But I know I am doing right thing, so i dont care for wrong people.
Oh yeah! I love bike riding. 🙂 I love it for exercise, but I just love the feeling and the freedom of it. I like the synergy of it during a good ride. I love it.
Me too 😇😇😇
Whoops! I didn't see the followup to your post...I also love walking... hence the "Walker" part of my name. 😉 I do tons of both. I had a knee injury that has nagged me for quite a while, so I'm just getting back to it again. I love both for different reasons. 🙂
@Secret6620 Sweeeeeeeet! 😄😄😄 I loves me some bike ridin'. 😋
Thanks for responding ❤️🥰
You're welcome! 🤗
Both. I will always ride a bike or walk over driving a car. It's more interesting in my opinion. With a car you lose the connection with everything around you. If it's like 300 miles away the car all the way. I dont have 3 days to get there and back. But if it's right down the street or 10 miles away bike or walking is perfect.
Honestly when I was young I loved to cycle everywhere. I bought myself a new bike 2 years ago as a fitness thing. By the time I got home with it I was in agony. Those saddles are not designed for 50 year olds. And my back and legs hurt more than when I tried jogging lol so my daughter got a brand new bike for nothing and I still walk everywhere
I used to compete in mountain bike races until I broke my collarbone when I was 17. Then I started having babies.
Thanks so much for replying ♥️🥰
Definitely I've got three bikes (one road, one mountain, one "commuter") plus a trunk rack. Eventually I'll probably be looking for one more. At school especially I barely walk anywhere if isn't wet outside
It's really fun to get the ol' crescent out and go for a ride when I haven't done it for a long while, after a winter or something. But it also gets old after a while, so you stop doing it for about another year.
I wouldn’t mind riding a bicycle (in general) but on a nice summery day to enjoy some scenery with someone special? i’m not going to say no for that. I think that’ll be a lot of fun actually.I don’t mind walking either
If you meant faces, then yes! Lmao.As a real answer, yes I do.
I did but if it starts to rain I will get wet or if I have a flat tire , then what? I go by car , truck or van ! Thanks
Bikes are the bomb!!! I used to ride all the time. But I don’t really have a good location right now...
NO, they damage my stuff and I want it working good. There was a study out awhile ago that showed there is a certain artery that bicycle seats damage on men. I loved going on long rides when I was little but not anymore.
I like to ride my bike.Has anyone taken part in “the naked bike ride” in the uk?
Never lol 😂 sounds fun
It happens every year in various locations around the uk.Public mass nudity is not illegal over here. 😁
I HAVE to ride the bicycle whether I like it or not. I don't, as I do it so often. But I use the bicycle regardless of whether it's raining, hail or sun. Any distance within 10 kilometres I tend to do with a bicycle, because it's far more convenient
I haven't road a bike since I was 12 I fell off and for some reason I just never wanted to get on it. I had 7 stitches on my chin and happened the week of picture day. I also live in NYC I enjoy walking.
I used to ride a bike all the time, but I had to give up on it when we moved. I couldn't take it with me and I never got around to buy a new one
I do! I haven’t ride one in about 20 years 😔 but I ride a motorcycle now.
I love riding bike except for the moment I fell on the bar!
Oh no 😢
Ikr.. but I still ride bikes
Which bar did you fall on and what did it do to you?
The one in front of the seat. It hurt like a bitch!
I like bikes riding me :) oh not that type of bike :) na love riding and walking couldn't choice one over the over
I bicycle daily and it is one of my most favorite things to do
No I don't like riding bikes. I never had one as a kid and I'm not very good at it now. They go too fast I'd rather just walk.
Yes, it is very fun. My girl and I ride in a park not too far from us.
I did till my knees starting hurting. Now I barely ride. But every once and while i will walk for like 6 hours.
Both. I walk to work everyday, but in the weekends I usually go for a bike ride. For about an hr or so
I like both. For shorter distances, or rough terrain, walking is better. I like spending half a day exploring on my bike too though.
I love riding bicycles but I’m bad at it since I learnt in kinda old age so mostly walking if possible
Yes, besides being good exercise, you meet folks, get some good cardio, and improve not just your physical appearance, but also your heart health, etc.
Walking is easier for me because I live in a very hilly area, but if it were more flat I would love to bike more.
I like to do both. Biking has its charms, but a good walk is always great as well. Its all a mood thing
Yeah, but I've got nowhere to keep one right now. And several years ago I was going through a tough financial time and had to sell my bike.
I like it. It's also the best way to get around the city for free.
I use to.. then I got caught up in life and left it behind. Makes me sad really
It's never too late to get back into it. I'm 38 and I ride a ton. Just make time for it and go! 😉 You'll be glad you did, I assure you.
@BlueWalker Actually thats something my wife and i discussed for this summer. We are probably going to ride together.
@worldscolide Nice! There's nothing better than sharing your riding experience with someone you love too. It also has a capability of bringing you closer together and to strengthen the bonds you already have. Get a couple bikes and go for it! 🙂 Just don't let the summer get away from you! 😉
@BlueWalker Right!! plus where i live i am less than 2 miles from work so i plan to use it for that too. Save some gas money..
@worldscolide Yep! 🙂 I always ride to work whenever I can. It's a great way to stay in shape and to save money. Not only that, but your energy levels will begin to increase as well and even though you'll be riding to and from work, there will actually be a lot more days where you aren't as tired when you get home. Unlike when driving or taking the transit to and from work. Seriously! 🙂 There will also be some days where you'll be dead tired, but for the most part you'll have more energy to boot. But you'll also have a bit of an adjustment period to get your body back in shape and used to riding again, but it doesn't last forever and it's worth the effort. 🙂The only downside is having a way to get home if you get caught at work during a thunderstorm when it's time to go home. Just be mindful that if you plan on riding everyday to work to know the weather conditions for the entire day and plan a way to get home if you get stranded at work - i. e. take the transit or get a lift. Other than that, it's a great way to get around. Bikes FTW! 😄🚴♂️
I haven't owned a bike in over 10 years, but I'd definitely prefer riding a bike over walking.
Haven't been on one in years I was probably 14 the last time. I wouldn't now to dangerous on the roads now.
Sadly I dont know how to ride a bicycle since I was little.
I just prefer sitting down being lazy.
Fresh air and exercising without the exhausted gasping of running
Id rather walk. I've never riden a bicycle that didn't end up with me having a sore ass/groin.
Anything with wheels is always more fun... add a motor and...
I've sometimes rode bikes here but our street is very busy so its not always much fun
I like it because you can visit more places without being as tired as just walking. It's overall more efficient than walking while still being a good way to exercise.
I love bikes really.. I need to get me one..
Eeeh, It would probably be fun, but bicyclin is fun by itself to me..
Haha, you already know.. XD..
Prefer to walk as you can take in the air talk to someone as you're exploring and look about
Yes, but my body doesn't.
Im more a skateboard guy
Buyed a expensive one with 16, still the same and better than what you can see everywhere
Used to love riding my bike but then I moved lol haven't road a bike since I was like 13
Depends on distance I am covering. I love both.
I love riding a bicycle on a cool sunny day.
Lol I can't ride a bike
I like riding bicycles, their fun.
I prefer riding dick 🙂
LMAO 😂 🤣
YES! I love riding them!
I like bike riding hehe
I only like stationary bikes, prefer walking
Well I can’t ride a bike so I have to walk lol
I like riding bicycles
I like riding by myself
Yes I love fast mountain bikes
I bike pretty much everywhere.
Hmm I can't remember the last time I rode a bike..
