Especially weird for the husband, especially when he calls your name out in bed. For example"Sussy, me and your mother Sussy are going to have some adult time, see you later",Could be interpreted as"Sussy, me and your mother, sussie, are going to have some adult time, see you later."
Well can't the same be said about a father naming hia son the same?
It goes both ways.
I'm sure this is true, but this is something we can already establish applies to the males as well as females (I'm not golden ruling either gender, but instead focusing the question towards the mother and daughter since they are the bigger focus in the question.)
My baby mama and I gave our daughter her middle name. I wouldn't do first name bc it will get annoying later in life when somebody calls and you both look
