What if the woman is the primary breadwinner.. is she at disadvantage?

Anonymous
If the marriage fails would she then be at disadvantage? My 33 year-old older sister is a surgeon, her income is higher than her current boyfriend's (as well as 2 past ex bfs she dated), owns 3 properties and has 2 vehicles. She has a clear understanding on why more men are avoiding marriage and isn't too excited herself.

She maintains a general low profile with others and isn't openly trusting. She wants to get married and have a kid but doesn't want to pay spousal alimony just because she earns more. That's how our state works; whoever earns more income is the pays after a divorce.

She doesn't like what several men have undergone. She wouldn't like that same thing happening to to her either. It makes sense. No one is going to like giving away 1/2 of their assets just because the marriage didn't go well.
