Would you still remain friends with your partner's parents in this case?

If you get along with them from the start till the end, your partner was the unfaithful loser but the parents are sweet people... would you still be their friend?

I'm in this hard and sad position. They both apologized for what happened, offered me their emotional support if I need to talk more and still have me on their facebook page even though I blocked their son. He didn't just cheated but got my then best friend pregnant. That's totally unforgivable.

Perhaps moving on and deleting anything to do with the relationship is what many people would do but another part feels for them. I don't think it's fair to remove good people (they're both like a family to me) from your life. Would you remain friends in that case?

If they mean that much to you, and they want to stay in touch, what's the harm in that? It will likely fade away when you meet someone new and like his family, and they like you.

I know and thats why this whole thing makes me sad... dealing with the heartbreak of getting cheated on, having to explain to them the reason our relationship is over, them still loving me and not knowing if I should continue having them on my contact since they remind me of that loser. He looks a lot like his father and has his mother's color.

They have a beautiful history of being today for over 30 years, no cheating, real love. They're well liked in the neighbor... many described them as sweet, down to earth folks.
It really sucks. They did nothing to make him cheat.
