If you were to watch a movie during Thanksgiving by yourself or with friends or family, what would it be?

I’m actually leaning into the Christmas season this year with decorations and all that jazz, because my dad is almost 89, so I want to make his remaining Christmases festive. This is the first time in my adult life that I’ll have so much as put up a decoration, much less a tree, haha. So that said, I’ve already gone out buying ornaments and all that stuff. Tonight is Thanksgiving eve, so tonight is when I’d be more prone to watch Charlie Brown or Garfield Thanksgiving specials. But tomorrow, after the Thanksgiving meal is done and out of the way, I think I might be ready to dive into Christmas season, and I’d be down to watch Home Alone, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Scrooged, the more traditional stuff like A Christmas Story or It’s A Wonderful Life... just something to set the mood for the month. I’m trying to take in the season this year and not just let it blow past me, recapture some of the magic of it that it had in my childhood. I even bought ornaments that are little more in the traditional red & green color scheme, with some gold and silver, but I wanted that old vintage, almost-tacky look. They have some dope Christmas tree design schemes these days, but they look more fit for a store window, I want the old school vibe. Anyway, somehow I ended up describing my future Christmas tree decoration strategy lmao, but yeah, tangents aside, I’m a little extra amped up for Christmas, so I think I’m jumping into Christmas as soon as the last piece of pumpkin pie is finished, haha.
