Is it rare to have had a great-great grandparent once?

Anonymous
I was 6 years old when my great-great grandmother died at 106 years old. I still remembered meeting her several times, her facial features and talking to her a bit. The lady had a good memory and knew who I was.

Then again, my family married very young. My great-grandmother (her daughter) is still alive and grandparents are still young for their ages.

Many of my family members on both mom and dad's side seem to live between 90ish-100+ years old.

I guess this is a rare... rare that I actually got to meet her and speak to her. I was old enough by then and it's all still fresh in my memory as if it was yesterday.
