What do you think it's okay to lie about?

Very few things, really it comes down to protecting someone. It’s ok for parents to teach about Santa clause and the Easter bunny as they protect their child’s innocence. It’s ok to be deceptive if in a life or death situation so your loved ones are in less danger and hidden. And it’s ok to lie to yourself in a way when trying to overcome an insecurity and push yourself to try something new and scary. Otherwise always tell the truth. I’m too honest and don’t want to ever lie unless these rare examples protect someone.

I used to never lie, but sometimes people would ask me personal questions in public that are none of their business. After talking to these gossipy people I would feel like an idiot with a big mouth for telling them anything.
If you say "It's none of your business" they get mad so now I just tell them whatever I want.
If people ask rude things that don't concern or affect them I just tell them whatever I want to.
