So it takes having a child to know all the sacrifice parents made?

Anonymous
Sometimes I used to give my parents a hard time as a 16-18 year-old teen. I once called my father a stupid old man and yelled at them ''I hate you both, I hate you''. My mother at the time said I was ungrateful and immature, that I know nothing about what it means to be a parent. Then I got told ''You'll know what it feels like when you become one yourself''.

Present-day:
I'm currently 4 months pregnant with twin girls and I'm scheduled for a C-section on May. That's the first time it hit me hard. It's a different emotion I'm experiencing at the moment. Just like my father once jumped on the pool (clothes on) when I fell as a toddler, I would do the same from them, even if it meant my life. I've never felt that way before.

Looking back... yeah I was a spoiled brat back then.
