It just made no sense to me. Its been 5 years. Let those people rest in peace. I understand Hawkeye wanting to bring back his kids. But to not let Black Widow willingly jump so that you can be with your family? Huh? y'all literally fighting to commit suicide? Huh? I get that its for the greater good, but this is why I couldn’t be a superhero. And for Iron Man to want to die to save the world when he now has a kid of his own? Im sorry but i just couldnt. I guess i could understand a bit more if they hadn't waited 5 years to try to bring people back. And I refuse to be that person that says “people die everyday” because I know how important their fam/friends were to them. But it kinda just made no sense for some of the cast to want to do this after 5 years.

I don't have anyone to really love, which is why it makes the most sense for me to jump off the cliff, especially if I was an Avenger (without superpowers). I wouldn't be losing anything, much like Black Widow. Outside of the universe, Hawkeye is the more "useless" character, according to many, but in the universe, he had a family; one that would be brought back after undoing the events of The Snap. So it logically makes no sense for Hawkeye to sacrifice himself, and all the sense for Black Widow to do it (although out of everyone, Bucky/The Winter Soldier is probably the most expendable, but he wasn't there).

As far as the five years thing... Yes, that was kinda messed up. It should've been 1 year instead, but I guess they needed Tony's daughter to grow up some more, which is kind of a cop-out if true. She could've been established in Infinity War as already being two or three years old, by then.

What's worse is, they didn't/couldn't un-do time; so a good 3.5 billion people on Earth alone (and billions of others in the rest of the small, MCU universe) are coming back to a world completely different from what they knew, where their younger siblings are now taller and older than them, their grieving spouses have moved on to new partners, and their former careers and homes have since been replaced. I'd argue bringing everyone back, instead of just reversing time, makes things FAR FAR WORSE than they were before.

And this isn't even getting into the fact that Thanos snapped away half *OF ALL LIFE.* This includes plant life, bacteria, and bees, which basically would doom the planet if half of them were gone. The CO2 and remaining flowers would die out. Losing half of the world's farmers would put us in a catastrophic food shortage. Basically, movie plot aside, the Earth would realistically not last for two years with half of plant life, bees, farmers, and other crucial roles suddenly gone from the world. And that's just Earth, alone. The rest of the universe may be dealing with worse. Like EVERYONE who the MCU heroes never met, off on distant planets, who have no idea WTF is going on when half of their population suddenly turned to dust because no one informed them of a "Thanos" or "Infinity Stones."

  Everything is God's if you listen to songs imagine God singing to you or you singing to him and you will be surprised at what you hear. so it stands to reason that movies and books and poems are the same. She was a sacrifice, that is why she did it. Someone needed to do it, God has always ask ed people to sacrifice. Whether it be not smoking a cigarettes' or staying off porn sites. This needed to be a more extreme measure. So if you think Ironman is not coming back then you also believe that Jesus will not comeback. There's a big difference between losing a friend or losing a family member and losing all of your friends and family members. Literally billions of people. They added the scene of Cap in the support group so you could hear how regular people were taking this new world and it was a world of suffering. Yeah, I'd throw myself off a cliff in order to get people out of hell. Death means nothing to you or me, but it means everything to someone else. So you and I are the perfect people to go off a cliff and die. Because we don't care. And being a hero means doing for others before doing for yourself. Like a fireman running into a burning building to save a life, even though they may lose their own in the attempt.

  Yeah, I suppose if you believe in those things you can try them. Even people who don't still try, though using different methods. Cryogenically freezing a person's head to try and revive them later and whatnot. Or researching ways to create a digital copy of a person's brain that you can store and upload to something else later. There's always people trying to figure out a way to avoid death forever. :p Interesting stuff.

The Avengers were family to Black Widow. Gave her a purpose. Before that, before working for Hydra, she lived a horrible life. She died because Clint was also family and life without her family was not life. A lot of those heroes were good, and didn't do any of the things that she did.
With Iron Man, it was simple. He either dies or Thanos wins. If Thanos wins, they all die, including himself and his wife and daughter.

  Rocket wasn't faced with the same dilemma so there is no way to know what he would have done. Had he gone for the Soul Stone instead of the Reality Stone, it would have been either him or Thor. They could choose to leave it be, or for one of them to die. If neither of them died, well, you saw how Thor was doing after the snap.

  True, but again, they were truly defeated for the first time and left demotivated after Thanos snapped his fingers. Post apocalyptic world, half of your friends or most of your friends are dead and those wounds didn't completely heal for everyone as the movie showed. Tony didn't want to try again after they lost and made a family with Pepper as a way to try and let go, but it still ate at him. Thor became a drunken mess. Hawkeye went on a killing spree as a merc. They didn't confront the failure, just poured their focus into a different outlet. That is running, not healing. Captain America was really the only guy who stayed optimistic about everything post finger snap.
  
  As heroes their motivation and goal is to protect people. And having the chance to go back and right the biggest failure where half of the universe is wiped out despite the longshot odds was worth it. That was their motivation and they wanted to make it work, no matter the cost.
