What is it like to be a dad of only girls and no boys?

If I go to have kids in the future and I only get girls imma be so upset. You gotta have at least one boy to change it up. Having three girls constantly having to worry about who they date and listen to them fight each other over meaningless stuff. Oml I couldn't.

My dad has 5 girls, no boys. When we were younger and people used to ask him how he handled it he said he became a Barbie dad, but still hoped we wanted to play sports too. He was a basketball coach but only my youngest sister wanted to play basketball. He learned roller hockey and tennis for two of us and practiced debate and baked with two others. He definitely handled it better than my mom who grew up with 7 brothers. My dad was even the one to talk to me about my period because my mom was at work and I thought he handled it well considering I was 10 and freaking out.

My high school girlfriend had a sister so her dad would qualify. I remember hanging out with her one day at her place and her dad came home and she ran up to him and they hugged and she was going on and on about something or other that happened very excitedly. Then he looks at her with a big smile on his face and goes, "that's nice honey!" and walks off. I was like "so THAT'S how he deals with that from two teenaged girls!" lol! He hadn't listened to a WORD she'd said -- I could see it in his eyes -- and she seemed to have NO idea! lol!

I have 2 girls. Lot's of emotions going on in my house. It's hard to have things in common with them. But I wouldn't trade them for the world.

I wouldn't mind having girls but I'd love to have both a girl and a boy, i mainly want a boy to do the stuff i never got to do with my dad

Ohh, its not bad at all. I rarely want to kill myself anymore but the doctor says to give the medicine time to work so I keep putting off killing myself hoping that it will.

I would think it would be extra scary since how the world works. I would worry about their safety much more than if I had a son

Having a boy is my dream, but girlfriend can't have kids due ovarian cancer she got with 13.
