Do You Prefer More Peaceful/Alone Time Or Prefer Constantly Being Around Others?

I'm an extrovert. I need people -- lots of people, to feel right, if I'm bothered. But I don't need to talk about it. Sometimes women don't get that. I just need to be with lots of smiles and laughs. Sometimes it even helps me to run into a person, in person, who is suffering much more than I do. Then I know whatever complaints I have are trivial while listening to them.

This past year has been the worst for me. I used to think I was sociable, cool, popular. Just put me in a crowd and I know how to mingle. But I don't know how to be by myself. My jokes suffer. They become increasingly unoriginal as I draw them from the media rather than people around me. And I feel so empty without the company. I'm a hollow vessel. This past year made me realize I don't really have much humor. I derive it from social interactions -- I can spin jokes at the moment drawing from people I constantly hang out with but I can't calculate a joke. Without big laughter, I am just a hollow vessel inside -- like a robot. I am an empty vessel. All I can do is siphon energy from others.

If the people I am with would be toxic (and that number is increasing) , I'd rather be "alone" with my dog and a piano/organ.
If they are any of a few people who are good influences and really help improve me as a person, I'll try to be with them.

There is the "rule of threes" guideline in health:
The human body will start to suffer harm if any of the following occur:
3 minutes without oxygen
3 days without water
3 weeks without food
3 months without other's touch/companionship

Many people are long past the one about physical touch, even if the first three are fulfilled. While the touch of others is considered essential for a balanced life, it is certainly possible to get too much of a good thing.
Plus, many people have just forgotten- or never knew- how to just simply "be with others": not hooking up, not fighting, not arguing politics, not trying to be like Facebook and censoring them - - just being in their presence.

being alone sometimes can be peaceful... but I prefer to be with family or friends... I enjoy group gatherings... and if I'm made to stay alone I would definitely need a phone or pc or tv... these can even have bad effects on my health and being alone sometimes brings negativity in my thoughts.. so...😅🤗🤗

Definitely alone. I could be alone for days at a time with minimal to no interaction with other people, and be happy as can be!
