A dog following you home isn't a reason to pepper spray a dog. Now if it is chasing you and you're running from it, it nips at your hand or something that can cause harm, growling at you aggressively while it's following you then yea go for it. But if it's just walking with you that doesn't mean it's an unfriendly dog. Talk with the owner. Depending on where u live animal control can give them a warning.

Ok... Is it just barking? Or maybe it's just sniffing you around?

You should only be using it in self defense. So if the dog is just sniffing you or barking that's not a good enough reason to attack the dog.

In fact if you do I'm pretty sure the owners can sue you.

Talk to the owners if the dog is bothering you that much.

Why should dogs get second chances? People like me get the cops 👮‍♀️ called on them for no reason just because they’re black. I’m not saying all are innocent but I’ve had the cops called me so many times for no reason. I’m not giving these muts any second chances. I bought pepper spray to feel safer at night
