God bless you for rescuing her, Jack!
@Jamie05rhs We needed each other, I think and "God" put us together, and we both knew. She passed, two years ago, and I haven't yet, been able to think of having another. I still her her ID tags, when she wakes, and shakes her head, before coming in, and "snorting" on me, with her cold nose, wanting to go out! Sometimes, I come home, and open the door, and forget she isn't there, anymore. . .I think the next one will just come to me, and somehow need a home, in some way. Just a thought. . .
@Jamie05rhs Do you have a dog, or have had dogs? You seem like a Good Man, and I like meeting Good People, here!
I have, sir. :) She was the best friend I ever had in my entire life. She died in 2007.Thank you for the kind words!
@Jamie05rhs Have you thought of getting another? I seem to miss my dog more, when I am between relationships, and totally alone, and with COVID, the Holidays were really sad!!
@JackSmy I have. But I'm too nomadic. As an adult, I've never been in a position to give an animal a stable home. (Plus, I don't want to have to pay pet fees to the apartment office.)
@Jamie05rhs Understandable. I lived that way for a lot of years! When I was able to get a house, and a yard, I knew I needed a dog, a companion, and someone to watch the house, when I was gone!! Not like I have anything anyone would want, but just the idea!! LOL!!
@JackSmy Haha! I know what you mean. And I plan to do the same!
Exactly a dog’s purpose

Lol exactly, I would love to give bear hugs.
Yeah, and small dogs tend to bark a lot more. It’s fucken annoying af.I say this from experience since my family once had 2 big breeds and now have one small one. And that little shit barks so damn much
Mmh could be true, I once witnesses two Chihuahuas causing problems, they were constantly yapping and humping the baby’s stuffed animals. 🤮
They were what?
True, same could be said about people.
I know, its humanity that has brought them in to this world by breeding wolves that can't survive in the wild, its up to us to adopt them. I understand it if they can't afford the food, but not everyone is that tight on money, more people can adopt larger animals than do.
My last Shepherd was a real ass though, but he was extremely protective of my children. These two, well I think they would protect the kids, but they'd let me get murdered while they wagged their goofy tails.
Loll oh no
They're some of the best dogs. 💜
Cool, that's my ideal dog.
Thanks. :)You know what I mean, right? Retrievers, Labradors, Setters, etc... Even Beagles and Spaniels.
Oh okay, yeah, they're in the middle. I guess my question was between the two extremes of dogs.
Okay. But I'm not really a fan of either extreme. Unless you're counting St. Bernards. :) And Dachsunds.
Both are very cute. Dachshunds especially!
Cool, what type of cats? Or does any work?
Himalayan cats are my favourite
