Do you prefer small cute cuddly dogs or large scary protective ones?

I KNOW dogs. They know me. I like the strong, SOLID dogs, and when we meet, if we connect! I have gotten the last two, at the Humane Society, and the most recent one had Kennel Cough, and they had her segregated.
We KNEW each other, and I told them I wanted her. So much fumbling, and babbling, from them, and I found out that they were going to put her down, the next day!! Bastards!!
They gave me some pills, and animals don't like eating pills!! How the FCK do they not get that?
Peanut butter, and all is good!! Had that one for 12 years! Best dog ever!!

In my experience, larger dogs are somewhat less likely to be aggressive (subject to training and upbringing, of course), possibly because they know they can achieve with a growl what smaller dogs would have to bite to accomplish. So I'll go with something like a Newfoundland- a big, cuddly, cute, protective dog.

Large protective ones. Not for the protection aspect, but more so cause I cannot hug and squeeze a small dog like I can a bigger dog...

Some small dogs are very protective, and some large dogs not at all.

I prefer dogs at least 40 lbs so they can defend themselves from coyotes and such. Mostly had big dogs growing up, with one exception, but she was very special. Rough and tumble, though, not one of those small dogs that look like their legs will snap like a twig.

Most small dogs I've seen tend to be the biggest cunts in the world, and most large dogs I've seen are sweet.
