My father is really sexist and he is also a narcissist. When I was younger he used to say toxic things. He hated White and Black people but he liked fair skin amongst his own people. His whole extended family and relatives were the same. When I’d get a bit tanned from playing in the sun then they’d viciously taunt me about how I’ve gone black. When I’d developed a complex and body dysmorphia at the tender age of seven and would scrub myself till I bled to remove my tan and say “I want to be whiter than snow white - I want to look like Lola our Irish neighbour.” He’d get angry and say “You don’t want to look like White people - they look like pigs and are pink.” So I grew more and more confused and it resulted in developing unhealthy relationships with food and I became bulimic at the age of nine.

Fastforward a few years and he refused for me and my sister to go to university because according to him girls should not be too educated. According to him women don’t need to earn high salaries and even 10K per year is sufficient for a woman. After all, the only thing women are meant to do is pop babies and take care of the house.

He would always be partial to my brothers. If my uncles ever wanted to treat me and my sister to a shopping spree he’d outright tell them not to take us for a treat and to take my brothers instead. If I stayed out late with friends he would say “oh so you’ve become a man now then.” And if I got a boyfriend he threatened to harm me and took all my contact devices away so I’d be isolated. He would say that I would be called a whore and I brought shame on the family. His sister said that my mother raised a shameless girl and has blackened her face (something they do in our culture if someone does something shameful).

I have countless instances of toxic things from my most formative years. Thankfully I had a brain and critical thinking and was strong and resilient and always knew that they were stupid and wrong. I had my own opinions and thoughts that were different from theirs.

I’m raising my boys to respect women. Absolutely. Neither of them thinks girls are less than. Actually they both rather like girls. WHICH is why we will be discussing consent at length, along with sex and making sure both of them are being safe and respectful.

Even if a parent/care person has a particular (and possibly harmful) view about something, they do not have to pass that view on to their kids. As the last pic alludes to, kids will be learning words that represent ideas, and those words/ideas have meanings, and the meanings and their use have consequences.

So, guys and gals (there are really only two sexes), it's up to you. Take the lead in which content to which your children are exposed when they are young.

That one is easy, the poor child was born with a disability. An awful one where they're missing their penis, almost like they're a girl. Despite hoping this would fix itself over so many baths and diaper changes, it hasn't grown in yet.

Poor child, I don't want to bring attention to this horrible affliction, so when "she" wants to wear dresses, play with dolls, and other girls, I just lock myself in a closet with jim beam and cry at the vagaries of fate. Even when the hair grows out and she's getting bigger, somehow, by the grace of the gods I find a way to love that child of mine even though there's a substantial lack of testicles.

On a serious note, as long as she carries mace, preferably a gun as she gets older, yeah, I would have preferred a son, but I give her all the same opportunities to work on computers, clean guns, shoot her bb gun, go fishing, and in a couple years go hunting if she will. I'm just glad to have kids, a lot of people can't. I mean, like medically, or the situations they find themselves in. I'm lucky to have my family and won't fuck that up because of my bad experiences in the past.

I freely admit to being incredibly sexist against women whom subscribe to the ideologies of today's modern, man hating, non-egalitarian, non-traditional 'Feminists'.

In all honesty though, the meaning of all the pejoratives typically used have been heavily eroded and the public's been desensitized to the vast majority of them due to excessive bombardment of media.

When my wife and I divorced, I ended up with custody of our daughter essentially falling into the 'single dad' category while my ex-wife jumped state to state looking to 'find herself'. Irrelevant to me knowing where she was most of the time, apparently she had no idea.

I stopped dating and focused on my kid 100% until she got married. I taught her how to be assertive and strong, and to not confuse that with being aggressive. I taught her how to use her wit and not be sarcastic. I taught her how to speak plainly, not metaphorically. I taught her how to be respectful and why not to be disrespectful. I taught her to not whine, complain, scoff and demean. I taught her what I felt she needed to be a strong independent leader, and when to know to depend on others. I taught her those values that are considered to be part of 'masculinity'.

Today she's happily married, self employed, and is studying law. She's trusted and respected by both her male and female peers for her accomplishments and her honesty, and not for her vagina. She's loyal and protective of her family and friends, and will tear anyone up whom threatens either.

She thinks the 'wage gap' is bullshit, she makes more money than I did at her age.

My entire family is lacking for good father figures. My mother cycled through men at a head-spinning rate. It took me a long time to understand why, but by then the damage was already done. She'd raised me to be a servile, soft-spoken, and self-loathing man. My perspective of women is wholly warped. I understand it's not healthy and it's not likable, but I really have no way of knowing how to act or what's really desirable or acceptable. The following is what my upbringing has taught me about being a man:

I must expect nothing from my partner.
I must prioritize my partner's desires.
I must prioritize my partner's happiness.
I must not be satisfied with myself. If I've accomplished something, I must surpass that level.
I must not display any emotion as that means I'm unstable.
I must be cosmetically appealing at all times.
I must emanate confidence.
I must not speak.

I raised my sons to respect women, just like the way my father raised me. I would never hit a girl and hopefully that rubbed off on my sons. I raised my daughter to know that she could do whatever the boys could do. She can do oil changes and mow the lawn. I tried to be a good role model. Sometimes I didn't do as good as I wanted to but they are all well adjusted and not in jail and nobody has a neck tattoo.

I think having your own values is good in general. I think it's dicey when your viewpoint limits what others can or can't do.

I think it's tough.. raising a kid is a lot of responsibility and trying to teach a girl the right way as a father I might leave mostly up to the mother but as a guy trying to help his son, it's a difficult place to be, I honestly don't know the words to give him. There is a lot of pressure on men... I guess the hope is that they would naturally find their way. But knowing the pressure of men, it's hard to encourage a boy... You will have to work really hard to live and even harder to get a wife... I think those are true words but how do you tell that to them... I guess you don't until their older 😂

I probably would be the classic father trying to protect my daughter while my wife tells me to let up and give her some space to be herself 😂 but that's I think as far as I would go 🤔

I wouldn't consider myself sexist at all but I'm raising two little boys and what I'm starting to realize is that they form all their own opinions regardless of how the parents are around them. Like sure it has some small effect but for the most part they are making themselves who they are and there isn't much I can do about that since I don't force my own opinions on to them.

I believe as we should aim to teach our children best practice, show them both sides of arguments and allow them to draw their own conclusions, hopefully largely free from our own biases.
It is an aspiration that we can never fully succeed with.
Your images appear to suggest that the baby is innocent and free from the natural biases and frailties of being human. That human societies operate the way they do because we have somehow lost our way or are controlled by an unfair system of influence.
It's a fashionable theme at the moment but not one to which I fully subscribe.
I lean more to a society of humans. One that they baby will grow into, perhaps aspire for the best, perhaps make genuine change within, but all the while limited by being no better or worse than those around him.
