It seems fun to be in a town like that.
Anxiety can definitely be a big issue when it comes to being around people.
I very rarely get into a real convo with people out in public or out on the street, i dont trust people
That’s smart! Lol.
You the same?
Not really. I do have anxiety but the real problem is that I don't have any options as far as socializing. I have no coworkers, I have no siblings, and while growing up, I had to move all the time because of the military so I have no lifelong friends.

Well did you have one before COVID started?
That sounds fine to me. I'm sure that's a lot of fun.
That's easy for you to say... have you seen my friends? lol... just joking!
I feel like that counts.
yes. Neither one of us are big social people.
Being married is constant socialization.
just about. We are that couple that would make you stick your finger down your throat.
I've been looking for one myself. I might need to go check that out!
Other than my 25 years in the band, I've never had one! Even if I beg and plead, I can't get one going! I gave up flogging that dead horse a good while ago. Covid ain't helping! I can't even get anyone to just get together every great once in awhile to play cards!! Everyone's too scared shiitless of getting it try befriendiing someone.
It's so hard to have friends as an adult. Everyone pretty much goes their separate ways and only focuses on themself and their relationship, kids, and career.
I know! But, it never used to be that way. All my young life, dad was on the church baseball team and would take us kids with him to games and we'd go to a bar afterwards and hang out with the rest of the players and drink pop, run around, play the jukebox or some of the pinball machines and have fun. On weekends, at least once a month, they'd have card club where one of the 4 couples in the club would host one week, another couple would host the next time, etc.. Who has card club anymore? One of the couples ion my parents' club got divorced in the`80's and that pretty much killed it for them.I haven't played anything but Solitaire since mom died 5 years ago!!When we had the pool in the yard, we had my aunts and uncles and friends over nearly every day of the Summer and they'd stay until at least 11:00!!
That’s definitely understandable!
Some people don't have friends to talk to either on the phone or in person.
Well thats when u star little by little. Go out, gym bar school make a little talk. Love yourself and dont force it. My opinion ok
Don’t you hate when people complain about you not staying in contact with them when they’ve been doing the exact same thing? People really wear me out sometimes!
You seem to have a lot of fun.
Yes I do.
That sounds healthy.
Why don't you want one? To avoid drama?
I'm an introvert and find social interaction to be exhausting lol I get enough social interaction at work and the LAST thing I want to do on my days off is spend time with people. I want to sit in my pjs on the couch all day.
That makes sense, especially if you have to deal with coworkers.
I am very good friends with my coworkers so if I want to hang out with them I just go to work 😂😂😂😂 I get paid and I see my friends lolAt my former job I was friends with everyone on all the shifts because I picked up a lot. I picked up so much that I was supposed to have earned $27K that year but instead I earned $50K. Almost doubled my income and always had fun lol
That sounds heavenly to enjoy work that much. :)
What changed that?
I got covid lol
Ohhh I see! 😮 Yes, I can definitely see that putting a damper on your social life!
Same here! I'm exactly the same way.
i just don't know what to say in person, i get all nervous and than i am like fuck
Just finding the people in the first place is the hardest part for me. So if you voted in the poll, did you pick yes or no?
i pick yes, and oh that sucks. I imagine you be nice to talk to once they start talking to ya
Thanks, I try!
well have a good day and stay safe
That’s not necessarily a bad thing!
Yep, but when you don't socialize with anyone outside of work?
At least you have your fingers 😊. J/K girl.
