i'll give you some bullshit trivia simply because i'm bored...
In the 1983 film 'Scarface', the set designers made sure there was a lot of black, gold and scarlet in the props. Black to represent the darker ambitions of Tony Montana, gold to symbolize wealth, and scarlett both because it is considered a regal color and because it echoed all the violence in the movie.
