I need help with my nose piercing?

So I have been wearing a nose stud in my nose since I had it pierced about 3 or 4 months ago. I want to wear a nose hoop. I have a flat back nose hoop I bought from Spencer's at the mall today. It's open with a flat surface on one of the ends. It's the kind that you have to feed through the piercing from the inside of the nostril out. I can't get it for the life of me! It's frustrating. Anyone have any tips or anything?

  • Go up a guage or 2 in a straight stud first, to enlarge the hole a little and make it easier to put a hoop in from the inside. Or if you're inpatient you could try putting a little neosporin on the inside of your nostril and just forcing it. Or get a different type of hoop that inserts from the outside. It's harder to get them in from the inside.
