you are retarded you don't know about the tinder experiment do you?
@shouldeye Do you understand control and subject bias?
Hey shouldeye not cool nobody is retarded here ! Not nice at all
@Francessa Not really worth jumping on. It does say a lot that he didn't continue with his point.
In the media, guys definitely have it harder in my opinion. Girl's fantasy preferences are way more superficial/tighter than guys in my opinion. It's like if you look at pornography, guys go all over the place as far as bodies. Girls want that tall guy usually with six-pack. Or maybe, every now and then, a dad bod with a 9-inch dong. But there's way less variety as far as the idealized male physique.
It's a good thing most guys are better able to not give a shit because, with the media ideas of the idealistic male physique, I'm seeing mass suicide or something like that. But guys can shrug that off better, on average, than girls in my opinion. But maybe one of the reasons why is because they can appeal more with qualities other than looks outside the most superficial environments.
But this online dating shit... it's really fucking up guys in my opinion. It's trying to appeal on first impressions -- ab veins and terse profiles. Of course, girls are gonna be pickier here. Guys aren't. It's like night clubs. You can find the best-looking guy so desperate that he sleeps with a hag. You can't judge how nature works with such a superficial environment.

I had both circumstances in mind.
I think that women care more about their looks than men do. Because society puts more pressure on women to be beautiful than men to be handsome. With masculinity, you've either got it or you don't. You can't fake it as easily as women can with femininity (makeup). But when it comes to the dating world, many people that study and discuss the topic say that younger women are pickier than men about their partner's looks. And that's because of the hormones and the fact that they're in their youth/fertile. But as they age, they start to care less about looks and more about security.
hm, there might be a misinterpretation I answered the question about THEIR looks not the looks of their partners
