You should wear it with pride.
@jkm1864 plenty of black people do.
Yes and it looks nice from My stand point. I personally think women and men should take pride in how God made them. Like I said before I had a receding hairline and a young age so I shaved it and owned it and I haven't been bothered with My hair ever since because I'm perfectly comfortable with the look. The funny thing is I still have hair on top and now I feel unclean when it gets longer so I keep it down to the scalp.
@jkm1864 That’s real nice. I think black people who wear their natural hair are pretty cool. I also think black people who don’t wear their natural hair are pretty cool. Black hair is a complicated thing. It’s got shrinkage, it’s dry, its time consuming, and it’s expensive. It takes a lot of time, money, and effort to keep black hair healthy and gorgeous, and I understand why some just opt to wear weaves, wigs, or relax their hair, or just shave it all off. We literally put hours into our hairstyles.
I worked with a black man offshore and that guy had the largest fro to the point it was almost funny. Well We all went out together and lets just say He had all the attention that night because He was the one man whom stood out. I kind of laughed about it because it was really funny but that was cool to witness someone whom was genuine win out that night.
@jkm1864 That’s cool.
Yeah I only worked with Him about two months and I have to say that job was one of the best I been on because We all became really tight. The thing is every job is different with whole different crews spread out all over the south east so You generally don't get to know each other because You are to busy and after You work Your 12 to 18 hour shift You go to bed to repaeat the process the next morning. That job had a lot of down time and We were only allowed to smoke in one room so the smokers all had one area were We all congregated and We all shot the shit for two months. We pretty much became friends but that all ended when the job ended because We all went home. The gulf is like that and I've only ran into one guy after that job and I was always running into Him before that job and I finally got to meet Him and hang out. I don't know what He does now but I'm pretty sure He's retired because He was easily pushing late 50's at the time and that was a good 15 years ago right before enron went belly up and yes that was an enron job and I don't think they got paid for it.

I am a white dude from the south eastern part of the states and dig the shit out of them. I would have one if I was black. What's weird is that my brother had a fro in the eighties. It was a cool one too. Only white guy ever to be able to pull that one off.
