I'm looking at this from a health-standpoint, not an esthetic one. I personally don't care what women's mounds look like, I care more about their well-being.

With that said, waxing is opening up yourself to be more susceptible to having herpes transmitted to you. Your pubic hair is there for a reason: to protect you. The follicle allows for debris and sweat to clog the area, and can become infected and even create in-growns. It's awful.

What I didn't exactly know until later years is that getting Brazilians done after some time can affect how your hair grows back. So when the day comes and you tire of getting them done, you might very well end up with sparse hair growing in or in only some places.

If you must do something, just get the bikini line done and use a hair removal cream. It's less painful and your hair follicles won't suffer as much.

Lmao, I went into my girl’s esthetics school and let her practice on me, she waxed my chest and my lower back. Some spots hurt like a bitch, but other spots weren’t that bad. But I’m guessing that’s one of those areas that hurts like a bitch, haha. And she showed me how she’d have to hold one leg up, I guess the lady has to get all up in there, logically😂 Seems a little too familiar for all involved lmfao. But she said it got easier after the first time or two, on all fronts. She wanted that laser thing done though, so I shelled out like $1,200 on that💸💸💸 I ain’t mad at it though😅

God, it is like I even get pretty uncomfortable thinking about it. The shocking fact is that how young girls are going for these waxes. I mean, when I was a teenager, I didn't know about all of this lol! But, I just want to skip the process like sometimes I think it's important to clean and wax your private area for hygiene purpose and other times I think that it is so uncomfortable that how can one open their legs wide infront of that person who is unknown and they will seeing our hairs like it just makes me so gross! But yes, someday or other day you have to get it done and I will get it done for hygiene purpose!

Don't think I'd enjoy it personally. I keep myself groomed and I prefer trimmed in my partner and I'd go along with what she asked of me - although I'd rather she went for shaving me (herself ideally) or something similar to veet than waxing!

I only get it in the summer it hurts but it’s not that bad. Beauty is pain. If your just starting you could get a bikini line and ask them to do the sides and top. They don’t charge me extra so I’m happy.

I have Hollywood wax, they use a different kind of wax called "honeycomb", it doesn't stick to the skin, it's still ouchy though, but worth it,,,
