Its whatever but its a shitty thing to do when on dating apps. You're lying to the guys. Also it puts the delusion women look like that and most men fall for filtered women claiming "that's beauty" while natural faced girls get called ugly. Also many girls think she's that flawless and become an insecure mess because she's not perfect like that filtered woman.

Seems to work ok for Kylie Jenner and the rest of the Kardashian clan. All in all it hides your looks and could be considered a form of catfishing. Kylie

I love them. I am literally a catfish. I know it’s not real but I like the way they make me look. They take away all my acne and the bags under my eyes and make the colors in my skin pop. I know I really look like Gollum in the lord of the rings.
If they want to use it then use it. Social media is a lie. Everybody is wearing make up, and photoshopping, and Facetuning, and putting filters on everything. I only believe it’s wrong when dating or when making advertisements for products.
I'm just sort of whatever about it. On the Internet, I tend to look more for character and surroundings to evaluate a person. That's filter-resistant. And I've learned not to put too much stock in a photo either way. I like video. Hard to fake video that much.

If it makes someone feel more confident in uploading selfies then I honestly don’t really care what people do with their photos... it’s sad that anyone would be bothered by it
