Any tips for oily roots and dry ends?

I've always had extremely frizzy dried ends, and oily hair at the roots (Or near the roots). I was never able to find a solution that actually worked. by the way if you're wanting to know the type of hair I have to help me out, it's straight at the top with curly mid-lengths and bottom.

Gonna sound crazy but wash your hair with your head tipped over upside down, only shampoo your roots, do it twice if you feel like you need to, really massage the shampoo all over your scalp. Only condition your ends and use a hair mask only on the ends once a week. I use the garnier fruictis hair food which you can put a little bit through your ends as a leave in conditioner too.

I'm going to sound the crazier one lol but I've always been washing my hair tipped over, I always found it way easier that way to get the shampoo out. And ohh... I see... never used hair masks before but if it benefits my hair then that's what I'll do. I've searched it up, there's a large variety of garnier hair masks which do you use or recommend? 🙃

I have this one it smells amazing and it's huge 🤣 as for oils you could try switching your shampoo to one that's specifically for oily hair, I use a shampoo bar which seems to have helped a lot.

On oily roots apply dry shampoo every other day. On Dry ends apply apply an oil/serum daily.
