You need the nit comb, cut your hair shorter, and run the comb through your hair while you have the shampoo in, you gotta let that stuff sit.

I got lice from going to a boy scout campout, I just shaved my head and that took care of that.

Anywho, you have to keep doing the shampoo and nit comb, it takes a little while, you have to get all the nits, every nit you miss is lice hatching and laying more nits, which is why you need the shampoo, to kill them before they're sexually mature and can lay nits.

I had lice one time. The druggist gave me this bottle of soapy liquid that seemed to have something like kerosine in it. I applied it from head to toes for about 5 minutes in the shower before rinsing off. I washed all my clothes and bedclothes in hot water. I rented a carpet shampooer and to the hot water it used, I added some flea and tick shampoo.

After 1 week, I repeated the above. I never had lice again. However, if I had it do over again, I would also purchase some lice foggers (aerosol bombs). And, I might use the lice foggers instead of shampooing my carpet since the foggers will penetrate your carpets, bed, and sofas and don't stain. However, I would still wash all my clothes and bedclothes with hot water and shower with soapy lice shampoo.

I had them for a long time. I got a medicine (from Mexico) that helped a lot, however all the treatment damaged my scalp. If you look for a natural treatment I recommend Tea Tree oil. It is strong so depending on your scalp and skin can irritate. I used it with my shampoo and conditioner. I also used to just fill up a pump with water and a couple drops of it.

My dermatologist suggested Permethrin cream for lice. He asked me to apply it and then wash it off after 12 hours once a week i think. It got rid off mine compelled

Step one clean home so they won't just get back on you after getting ride of them, cut the hair short, and keep yourself clean. No medecine should be needed. Oh don't forget any pets that might be involved. They can also carry them. You might need to discard some furnitures in the process.

Try covering your head in yogurt. If that doesn't work then I would shave your head and start looking for a wig until your normal hair can grow back.
