What do y’all think about face tattoos?

ugly and stupid seems to be the general consensus in the comments.
and to be perfectly honest, my automatic reaction is kinda the same, "yuck, why would you do that?".. but i think this is perhaps more an issue on zeitgeist and cultural context.
face tattoos are for criminals and thugs. an indicator of poor education and social standing, a demonstration of reckless impulsiveness, and if not actually a criminal, then at least not concerned with looking like one. it's just an aesthetic wrongness that respectable people don't have... for now that is.
but that was the case with ALL tattoos until relatively recently. while now, my most educated, creative and of best social standing, both in stock and forecast, have at least one tattoo. it's no longer a an unsightly symbol symbol of societal ugliness, and just a style choice that some people make, which, now removed from stigma can be beautiful.
so who knows, maybe face tattoos will go the same way in time... but for now, sorry, that's a no from me.

I have a lot of tattoos but would never go for the face and friends who are tattoo artists try and pursuade people not to do it. It's like the last barrier of acceptability and I don't know why but it is. It will impact your likely hood of getting a good job, a partner and many other things.

So personally it's a no and society still seem against it.

I personally wouldn't get one on my face but to each their own. I definitely wouldn't get anything tatted on a whim but if you've thought about go ahead. Maybe try one of those fake tats that will go away to do a test drive on how having the face tat makes you feel. I did that for my first ever tattoo and still love it and the others I've gotten since.

Yeah, they look great as long as you wear a bag over your face. But why? These girls looked attractive before they made their faces up like a comic book cover. Makes no sense to me.

I personally think they look really bad and wouldn't recommend getting one unless you have a deep cultural reason to do so.

For example women from some inuit tribes will tattoo their chins as a coming of age ritual.
I think that's pretty cool and has an interesting meaning behind it, but otherwise I would find them really unattractive.

I'd invest in therapy if thinking of that cause something messed up in self image if woman feels they are more beautiful with someone elses ink/artwork on their face.

Why would you want to ruin your looks by putting graffiti on your face? At least with a lot of tattoos you can cover them with clothing. You can't your face. I am thinking that, depending on the tattoos, it might limit your employment opportunities.

I wouldn’t do it but I think they can be cool if it’s not something stupid. Certain face tats can have cultural importance like Maori tattoos. But for the most part I’m not a fan of face tats.

Think they look stupid also many employees won’t hire you if you have face tattoos because they look tacky and they make a person look unprofessional I know where I live many work places have strict dress codes and rules about tattoos meaning if your workplace has rules set out stating that tattoos must be covered and than you go and get a face tattoo the employer is in their right to fire you on the spot and there is nothing you can legally do about it same goes with going into a club a club has the legal right to refuse entry to anyone they want and this includes people with visible tattoos

it depends on what it is, in many jobs I've seen they want you to hide tattoos in general so on the face may make it difficult to get/keep a job.

They are kool if they subtle like a small short name across the the left or right side of the forehead. I wanna get a small rune symbol below on the corner of one of my eyes.
