I don't think that anyone "should" do it. Just that less hair seems to be more appealing on women which is ridiculous. Hair is a natural barrier for disease, bacteria and germs. Men don't like it on women because it keeps them from seeing their skin, any marks on it and makes them feel soft. Ergo continuing the notion that women are fragile and gentle creatures.
All that being said, I shave for myself or to keep people from bad mouthing/staring at me.
I don't like men with hair that sticks out too much. Not past when their arms are down, when a button is undo, peaking out heavily in shorts... That stuff
I think women should shave if they want to and not just because they're significant other wants them to and also because hair is natural and not that big of a deal.

People should shave whatever their partner prefers them to. For most women that means shaving or waxing their armpits, legs crotch and pubic area. For most men that means either shaving nothing, or trimming their crotch and pubic area, again depending on their partner's preference. In my experience most women feel like a man shaving anything else is just weird and unmasculine.
@missy52 Tall, slim, academic, intellectual, bookish, posh, intellectually and physically masculine. I find such women are mainly attracted to skinny, boyish, model-looking pretty types, it's a kind of appearance that's not really compatible with body hair.
